Dan delivers a program of hot Straight-ahead, Latin, and Contemporary Jazz, appealing to music aficionados of all tastes. Whether playing soprano, alto, or tenor saxophones, flute, piccolo, or clarinet, Dan delivers an unforgettable musical experience for all ages! Dan has appeared with and opened for a wide variety of artists, including Stevie Wonder, Kenny Loggins, Jay Leno, Spyrogyra, Gato Barbieri, Jeffrey Osborne, Richie Cole, Gerry Mulligan, Pete Jolly, Freda Payne, Keiko and Kazu Matsui and Latin music star Selena. He has also appeared with the Arizona State University Orchestra and Scottsdale Symphony Orchestra. He has performed in the U.S., Europe, and Mexico in jazz clubs, festivals and schools and appeared on television and radio, including a feature on Public Radio International's "Whaddaya Know with Michael Feldman." As a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University and Roster Artist with the Arizona Commission on the Arts, Dan has a firm commitment to Jazz education. In addition to concert performances, he gives lecture/demos, leads student workshops and provides master class and residency services. His background includes training with jazz and classical music educators Eric Kloss, George Cables, Gary Foster and Jack Ratterree. Dan is available individually or with his band for concerts, tours, clinics and residencies worldwide. Complete sound and lighting systems are available.
